Description
This guided group experience welcomes arriving buses with a complimentary group photo and a free printed copy for each guest, creating a memorable start to the visit. Upon arrival, larger groups are divided into smaller tour groups of no more than 20 guests to ensure a more personal and engaging experience.
Guests are accompanied by knowledgeable tour guides, many of whom are former employees of Union Pacific Railroad’s Bailey Yard, offering authentic, first-hand insight throughout the tour. Groups rotate through a series of curated stations depending on time and weather conditions. These may include the 7th Floor Outdoor Viewing Deck, 8th Floor Indoor Observation Deck, Hall of Fame Wall, Flag Walk, and the North Platte Canteen exhibit.
Meal service is integrated into the experience offering either pre-prepared boxed lunches or buffet-style service. Guests are welcome to enjoy their meals at their convenience during the tour. Dining areas include an outdoor courtyard shaded by a brick pavilion, as well as seating on the 7th and 8th floors, providing flexibility and comfort throughout the visit. Please note this is a non-private group rental experience. The visit also includes flexible time for sunset viewing (seasonal), gift shop browsing, and additional exploration of the tower.

- Mini Runza ®- The first restaurant opened in 1949 in Lincoln, NE, is a special mix of ground beef, diced cabbage and special spices served inside a fresh baked bread pocket.
- Rueben Sliders-A sandwich that first appeared at the Blackstone in Omaha in the 1920s, featuring corned beef or pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and a Russian style dressing.
- Dorothy Lynch: A sweet, peppery dressing blend, made in Duncan, NE, served atop a bed of lettuce greens and shredded carrots.
- Jim Baldridge Seasoning: Special seasoning created only minutes from the tower, served on a blend of warm vegetables.
- Local Honey from the Sandhills served on warmed carrots and topped with parsley.
- The Village PieMaker Pie: a variety of flakey, fruit-filled pies baked to perfection, originating in Eustis, NE.
