About the Role
The Golden Spike Tower is seeking 1–2 friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic team members to join us as Seasonal Guest Representatives. In this role, you’ll welcome visitors from around the world and help create a memorable experience at one of Nebraska’s most unique attractions.
This is a great opportunity for students, working adults, or anyone looking for flexible part-time work in a positive and engaging environment. No prior experience is required—we’re happy to train the right person!
Schedule
- Daytime shifts only (5–6 hours per shift)
- Summer hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekend Availablity required
- Hours may vary during special events
What You’ll Do
- Greet guests and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Answer questions and share information about the Tower and North Platte
- Operate the register and process gift shop purchases
- Restock merchandise and maintain a clean, organized space
- Assist with opening/closing tasks and light cleaning
- Represent Nebraska tourism with pride and professionalism

- Team-oriented and able to work in a small group setting
- Availability for daytime hours, including some weekends
Position Details
- Seasonal position: May 1– September 1
- Potential opportunity for permanent part-time employment based on performance and availability
