Description
This guided group experience welcomes arriving buses with a complimentary group photo and a free printed copy for each guest, creating a memorable start to the visit. Upon arrival, larger groups are divided into smaller tour groups of no more than 20 guests to ensure a more personal and engaging experience.
Guests are accompanied by knowledgeable tour guides, many of whom are former employees of Union Pacific Railroad’s Bailey Yard, offering authentic, first-hand insight throughout the tour. Groups rotate through a series of curated stations depending on time and weather conditions. These may include the 7th Floor Outdoor Viewing Deck, 8th Floor Indoor Observation Deck, Hall of Fame Wall, Flag Walk, and the North Platte Canteen exhibit.
Meal service is integrated into the experience, with groups directed to a designated food line offering either pre-prepared boxed lunches or buffet-style service. Guests are welcome to enjoy their meals at their convenience during the tour. Dining areas include an outdoor courtyard shaded by a brick pavilion, as well as seating on the 7th and 8th floors, providing flexibility and comfort throughout the visit. Please note this is a non-private group rental experience.
Lunch service timing can be adjusted and may be offered before or after the tour depending on scheduling needs.
